Night Terrain is created around an individually selected pietersite, chosen for its extraordinary natural patterns and dramatic relationship between colour and light.

Across the deep blue-black surface, ribbons of golden brown, warm amber, and ochre move in irregular directions. Fine blue-grey streaks appear between the warmer colours, while darker areas provide a sense of depth and contrast. Together, these natural variations resemble an abstract landscape — a composition that feels both powerful and surprisingly balanced.

What makes this particular stone especially distinctive is that both sides offer their own natural composition. Rather than treating one side as the back, the pendant is designed to be reversible, allowing either face of the pietersite to be worn outward. Each side reveals a different arrangement of flowing colours and patterns, offering two expressions of the same stone.

The movement of light adds another dimension. As the pendant turns, golden areas catch the light differently, revealing a shifting, silky lustre against the darker background. Can this pendant be made again?
